Today I went to a Corvette show. Cars really aren't my thing photography-wise. I'll usually do all I can to exclude them from my pictures. But a friend of mine was showing his car, so I wandered down to Seaport Village to take a look.

It isn't easy to take good pictures at car shows, there is so much background clutter and so many people are milling around and looking into the cars. The shiny cars pick up reflections of everyone around and being a show, the cars nearly always have signs stuck on the windshield. I find it easier to look for unusual angles and details, rather than try to capture complete cars. The cloudy day helped mute specular highlights and I used a polarizer to remove unwanted reflections. I had fun, but cars aren't my thing.
