NELSON - Constant Lighting for Products and Still Life Subjects
We are pleased to announce a new series of workshops developed for Nelson Photo & Video by popular San Diego photography instructor, Mark Holmes.
In this class, we explore the use of constant lighting to light table top studios. We learn how to place lights to create compelling photographs for an assortment of subjects. We have fun painting subjects with light.
On completion, you will have learned how create fun and interesting photographs using LED constant lights and reflectors.
Subjects include:
- Ambient v. constant v. flash lighting
- Setting up LED lights
- Creating soft light and hard light
- Using multiple lights and reflectors
- Introducing colored gels
- Painting your subjects with light
- Adjusting color temperature
- Measuring constant lighting exposures
- Dealing with high-key and low-key subjects
