The March 2012 Group Shoot met at the Visitor Center in the Anza Borrego Desert State Park and a good time was had by all.
The weather forecast looked rainy for San Diego, but in the desert the day started bright and sunny, but with little evidence of the wildlfower show that we had hoped to see. Over 20 photographers made the trip out to the desert and several of us formed a caravan of vehicles as we toured the Borrego Springs area taking pictures of the many pieces of artwork on roads around the town.
After shooting the art, some of us went up to Coyote Canyon to check out the wildflower scene. Some Ocotillo was in bloom there, but not much wildflower action. At lunch, the wind began to get up and clouds began to appear in the mountains, making for some spectacular photos from Font's Point and Vista del Malpais.
There is a gallery of images available in the galleries section of the site where you can share some of your images from the weekend.
